I can comment on the communications with Essential Repairs and it was first class. I cannot comment on the work completed because I was not at the property but this is what my tenant had to say. "As you know by now, the gas engineer has been, but I  thought I'd give you an update on things. Firstly, the pump has been swapped and now works as intended and is a lot quieter than the old one. He also did his bit on the boiler and in addition to exchanging the new part, he discovered that one of the under sink water supply taps was not working, it had scaled up, so he has replaced it with a lever and as a result of both of these jobs, the pressure is sitting at 1.4 - 1.5 bar when cold. Overall, he was very thorough and professional. Give him 5 stars!"

Due to a previous flood in my flat, my underfloor heating packed in a couple of years later. The insurers told me they would foot the bill so I contacted Essential Repairs. They come in and ran a couple of tests and quoted me a very reasonable price. They came in and identified the reason for the problem (turned out to be a leaking pipe) and fixed it. Proceeded to dehumidify the room and once that was done, replaced the underfloor heating and replaced my flooring. The finished job was, excellent both aesthetically and functionally. Also came in below the originally quoted price because they were able to save money but not putting items into storage given that is was unnecessary. An outstanding job done on time and at a very good price. Would absolutely recommend their services to anyone getting work done.

Peter is multi-skilled, and very pleasant. He competently fixed a problem lavatory bowl, a failed bathroom extractor fan within the duct, and another fan in the boiler cupboard, and then went on to prepare for the replacement of a failed double-glazed window section. All with thoughtfulness, and tidily as he worked. Impressive maintenance!

Job: to paint heavily corroded iron gates. Method: brush down, then undercoat and topcoat. Execution: excellent, fast, economical by charming workman. Firm: used before for external electrical work, also well done. Verdict: highly recommended.
