Nicola George Walker5 StarI've used building and handyman group twice now and both times they were perfect from start to finish. Easy to book, availability exactly when we asked for them, arrived on time, super friendly, very efficient, tidy up perfectly after themselves (and it was a messy job!) took the rubble away and all for a reasonable price. Dream!Friday 12th April 2024
Alexandra Drought5 StarI had a new shower unit installed. The plumber was knowledgeable, skilled and left the bathroom immaculate after completing the work. The work was completed to a very high standard. I was very impressed.Thursday 11th April 2024
Euan Smith5 StarFantastic service. The team replaced a fence for us after ours blew down during a storm. Very professional, great value for money and high quality of work.Monday 29th April 2024

Ryan Furniss3 Star3* review as there were some good and some bad bits.
We had someone come round to trim and hang three doors in our flat as well as fit the door handles.
They turned up on time and parked outside and my partner sat by the window to watch his van as he didn't have a permit/pay for parking. The wardens come round a few times a day and he had to do a few drive rounds to not get caught.
Two of the doors were ok, however one was over trimmed and so was then too small for the space. The guy had to go and buy an end filler piece so that it correctly filled the doorway (shopping time is charged to the customer which ordinarily makes sense, however not when it is something that isn't needed).
At the end of the day, the doors were eventually sorted so we weren't too bothered as we just wanted the work doing.
We received the bill from the company to find that we were being charged for parking, as well as having to pay for the end filler piece that the guy bought because the door was too small. After protesting, the parking charges were removed but the filler piece left on the bill as "the lining was 15mm out of whack all the way round, and the door needed adjustments to square it off." We don't believe this to be true and sent pictures and measurements to prove it. There was some back and forth over emails and the office was fairly responsive.
The goodwill was low after trying to charge us for parking and so we declined the offer to come round and explain further and just paid the bill - the piece was £20 and at this point it was one word against another so we just moved on.
Probably won't use again which is a shame as couple of things let down what could have been an ok service.Sunday 8th October 2023
