My washing machine had broken and Bits Bobs and Odd Jobs were swift to come to my rescue!| They advised on what kind of support I'd require and estimated time it'll take, and managed to book me in at short notice for the same afternoon. Frank who came to my house was friendly, professional and fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.

From the outset the communication was fantastic. They were very responsive and asked questions before giving their quote which was much appreciated. I live aboard and I requested the on-site handyman to communicate via WhatsApp which they were happy to accommodate which made everything much easier to arrange. The handyman that attended was on time and professional giving his opinion on what should be done and completed the work to a high standard (re-grouting bathroom tiles, repairing water damage and fixing a front door closing mechanism). Overall very impressed and would certainly recommend them and use them again.

I requested a handyman from Bits Bobs and Odd Jobs to help with some basic tasks in my flat. We had agreed that over the day, a small bit of regrouting and the replacement of silicon sealing would be complete in my bathroom. We also had some power washing done of my (very small) patio which had some rust stains. The handyman spent over four hours on the patio, and every time I looked he was on his phone. The grouting was done terribly and my shower continued to leak, which meant I had to call out a handyman from elsewhere to redo the work (the other handyman completed the work in around 45 minutes for a fraction of the price, plus the cost of buying and running a dehumidifier to deal with the resulting dampness). The sealing was not done. I was initially charged over £900 for the day - I had to query why I had been charged for the handyman’s lunch hour to get that charge removed. The cost of this work completed by other handymen would be no more than £300-400, and I still ended up paying over £800 to Bits Bobs and Odd Jobs for incomplete and unsatisfactory work to be done. I believe time was wasted to incur higher charges. I complained to the company and requested some monies back in appreciation of the subpar work done, and the company said that they cannot compete with local handymen pricing and that they would not offer me any money back. I would not recommend using this company and am wholly dissatisfied with the service received for an exorbitant cost.

I highly recommend this fantastic company. I was recommended them by a friend who also uses them. Franck was extremely professional and competent. He did a fantastic job fixing my gate and other jobs in the house. They are punctual and efficient
